Direct To Garment (DTG) Printing is a method of directly printing designs and images onto garments using specialized inkjet printers.  This process allows for detailed and colourful designs to be applied onto various textiles.

Advantages

  • Ideal for producing full colour, complex designs
  • Eco-friendly water-based inks.

Limitations

  • Because of the ink that DTG printers use and the way that the ink is applied, print fade can happen quicker from repeated washing and drying compared to other print methods.
  • Requires more care when washing (cold, gentle wash only, no dryer)
  • Printing can only be done on cotton
  • Limited design placement (no sleeve printing or printing near hems)

Artwork Requirements

  • Artwork to be supplied in vector format.
